This Unit is under the Director General’s office and has
the following responsibilities:
- Informing, sensitizing, enlightening and creating awareness
on the role of the Agency - in carrying out these functions,
the Public Affairs and Protocol, employs the services of the
mass media and other channels of communication as effective
tools in the discharge of its duties.
- Co-ordinating the Information, Education and Communication
(I.E.C) Programs as well as other enlightenment campaigns
of the Agency in the Televisions and Radios.
- In active collaboration with the Planning, Policy Analysis
and Research Department, the Unit also facilitates NOSDRA's
participation at several international and domestic events.
